The Minotaur filled the birdfeeder today. I’d like to say the living version of the featured photo showed up, but we don’t really get cardinals here. I hope everyone traveling to be with family over the winter holiday get there safely.

2016-12-23_18691Our holiday, the Solstice, has come and gone.  We still enjoy holiday lights and cookies in the long dark evenings.  We are not traveling and usually go hiking on Christmas Day if we leave the house at all.  But may all of you find your “merry” where you like it best!

Herland

The name of this blog, and my Dreamwidth blog, Herlander Refugee, is taken from a 1915 feminist novel "Herland". It makes my heart sing that modern women are experimenting with creation of a new "Herland"!
