1moneyOh, pity the very rich.  Or not.  (Definitely don’t pity their misogynistic lapdogs of the GOP.)But if you needed any sort of verification that the “trickle down” myth is just them pissing down your back, this should do it.  The fact that an obscenely wealthy man wants things leveled out a bit on the economic playing field should encourage me, I suppose.

But oddly, instead it reminds me somewhat of a Terry Pratchett book called “Carpe Jugulum” about a host of vampires that groom and “farm” their people so they don’t run out of victims.  So, when a rich man tells other rich bastards it’s time to wise up, don’t be surprised if the response deserves a Pratchett quote:

“When people say things are a lot more complicated than that, they means they’re getting worried that they won’t like the truth.”

But for the rest of us?  Yet another Pratchett quote from “Carpe Jugulum” likely applies:

“Don’t trust the cannibal just ’cos he’s usin’ a knife and fork!”
