Not Reminded of Viet Nam At All …

1iraq…no, not a damned bit.  First “advisors” and now, 300 more.  They aren’t Spartans, are they?  Nah…Leonidas and his red-cloaked compatriots weren’t stupid enough to go make war AWAY from home.

Gee, didn’t all Dick Cheney’s dickish friends already make enough money?

Aren’t the undertakers busy enough?

Can’t we fucking learn?

Can I hope that President Obama will use the time limit set in the War Powers Resolution of 1973 to force the House Republicans to Vote to Declare War and when they don’t then he pulls us out?

    • I don’t think so. Seems to me he has unfortunately locked himself on the “Give to get along” course, although, of course, they give him nothing back except more shit. He is buying the line they are selling — a coke addiction might be more healthy than THAT shit.

When do we get to see helicopters on the embassy roof?

A buddy of mine flew into Nam, got off the plane, and they loaded eveyone back on and got the hell out of there. The airport was about to be overrun. Things can fall apart damn quick.

Why do I know this and no one in Washington does?
