1gop and pro lifeAttend, please, to this quote:

“He is principled, pro-family, pro-life, pro-traditional marriage, pro-2nd-amendment, pro-religion, pro-parents’ rights, and utterly fearless.”

It is not just me who reads something like that and shudders from head to toe, right? It is my experience that people who claim to be oh-so-principled usually are not. And how the hell someone is both pro-2nd Amendment and pro-(Christian-kill not) religion just boggles my mind. And such folk are never, never, never “utterly fearless”….my experience is that they are terrified of anything, especially a woman or child, getting out of their control.

Go read at the link, please, and consider the light shined upon politics mixing all that oh-so-pro bullshit when it is applied to laws to allegedly protect children!

  1. HyperB says:

    That should read:
“He is a self-avowed oath breaker, patriarchal despot, anti-abortion terrorist, homophobic hate-monger, gun fetishist with a racist kink, theocratic obscurantist, fascist child abuser, and bug fucking nuts.”
All sworn on Jizzus’ bodily fluid they all pretend to drink, of course.

    • Now, now…once upon a time, I drank my share of consecrated Dago Red, it never made me an oath breaker, a despot, a hate-monger or racist; so it is more than just a bit of wine at fault here!

  2. It’s amazing how they turned the word “family” into a dirty word.

Herland

The name of this blog, and my Dreamwidth blog, Herlander Refugee, is taken from a 1915 feminist novel "Herland". It makes my heart sing that modern women are experimenting with creation of a new "Herland"! Yes, comments are closed. Anyone who just MUST reach me can do so at syrbal6 at gmail dot com.
