Fucking Banks

pineconeNot only do banks continue to do horridly predatory mortgage crap to people, with the careful guidance of their flesh eating lawyers keeping them technically out of legal soup, but they want to make sure people don’t have any choice in where to put money or get loans. They are going after credit unions now.

We have both a bank and a credit union. I HATE our credit union. It is staffed by inefficient idiots who constantly piss me off. Our bank, on the other hand, almost never fucks up. So, damn…I hate a dichotomy for breakfast on a Monday. Faugh…pine cone enemas for them ALL!

Banks and credit unions are like everything else, running the gamut from good to bad. It is never wrong to examine why you are with your bank and/or credit union. If the bad outweighs the good then move your business. If the good wins then just grin and bear up with the morons.

    • Yeah, pretty much what I am summoning the energy to do. I think what disenchants me is that when I pointed out what they did wrong, they were like, “Well, but your loan is paid EARLY, how cool is THAT?” While I was more in line with, “Yeah, what if an emergency had come up and we had NO money, you dimwit?!”

I have a good credit union which I belong to, but I also have the option of going to the Navy Federal Credit Union if I ever get cheesed by them. My employer works with the banks, and I’ve yet to hear an employee say they like to bank with their employer. The Banksters need to be put on a short leash, but the have our representatives privates in hock, so that wont happen prior to a new Great Depression. Sigh.

    • Pretty much. I don’t think our credit union (Boeing) is bad over all….just the local bits are run by morons who can’t figure out what ‘savings’ means vs ‘pay into this loan’. We got money for a new roof back in 2001….meant to be paid off in 5 years. It was paid off in THREE, because those twerps put EVERY cent into the loan and NONE into savings…in spite of clear instructions.
