…military action in Syria, even cruise missiles.

First of all, let me say, death is death. Much screaming is going on because Assad used chemical weapons on his civilian populace. How many thousands of civilians died due to American weapons use in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan? Are we to believe it is REALLY so very different to their families because it was NOT poison gas that killed them all? So, yes, first of all, it is hypocritical of us to decide we must be the cop-in-charge of punishing Assad. For the “sake of the world” my ass….because Israel has a case of nerves we are jumping in to do their dirty work?

Second, it won’t punish him unless we kill HIM. He doesn’t give a damn. He may even be worse to show he has a bigger set of balls.

And third? What if we cannot keep it from needing ‘boots on the ground’…what if Assad manages to kill sailors off his coast with a SCUD hit? THEN wtf do we do?

This is NOT our job. This is why there is a United Nations. This is why there is a World Court.

This will only enrich arms merchants and undertakers. We are not in charge of being a gunslinger for any bully loose in the world.
