Again, Another War?

08/26/2013 by syrbal-labrys

Really, America? Syria? Honestly, do I need to semi-anesthesize myself with alcohol to watch the evening news now? Please, please do not tell me we are going to yet a THIRD mid-eastern war?

Oddly, when Saddamn Hussein gassed the Kurds, we didn’t immediately whomp his ass.

Oh, and yes, who the hell died and made us boss of everything? In other words, I have my doubts that this is all about “Oh, the humanity”….

Gee, the last few wars we started have worked out so well for us. Maybe we want to fight them until we get it right?

Don’t think we’ve have a real success since Grenada.

Good thing there’s zero potential for a wider Middle East war.

Well, President Obama said that if the Syrians crossed the “red line”, he would have to take action. Like he’s taken action on every other challenge that has happened over the past five years…

So will the speech be tomorrow, or the day after?

I don’t know, all I know is; there isn’t much Army left for another full on grind into the sand. And we can’t afford the war we are in…in blood OR money. And no change from outside in ANY country in that part of the world is going to last.

No worries on that. President Obama’s solution to every problem is to give a speech. A nice, ornate, florid speech. And it will be a fine speech too, I’m sure.
