So, Why Isn’t It Called What It Is…

….if I busted into your house and took your stuff, it would be called breaking and entering and robberyburglary. But when a bank does it? A bank that isn’t even your mortgage holder and is there by mistake? Why is nothing done to force the bank to make it right?

Corporations are people and banks are apparently the goddamned knights errant. Heavy on the errant part. And people get trampled….

  1. E.A. Blair says:

It’s robbery if the victim is present – it’s burglary if it’s a crime against property. If someone breaks into your home and you’re not there, it’s a burglary; if you are home, it’s a robbery.

If a bank takes your home, it’s just a bankster being an asshole.

Herland

The name of this blog, and my Dreamwidth blog, Herlander Refugee, is taken from a 1915 feminist novel "Herland". It makes my heart sing that modern women are experimenting with creation of a new "Herland"! Yes, comments are closed. Anyone who just MUST reach me can do so at syrbal6 at gmail dot com.
